Comfortable, sure-footed style- I'm VERY happy with these
shoes! I'm short, and my feet can't take most heels over 1-1/2
inches because of pain in ball of foot/metatarsal area, but
these (as many Danskos) feel really good. Unlike most of my
other Danskos (I have about 7 pair), these also look elegant,
with the slimmer heel shape and very classy mixed-leather
design on front. I wear these with pants and love the strap
because it holds the shoe on my foot better than any other
kind of style and I feel secure in them and can walk fast and
go up and down stairs quickly without worrying about my feet.
I bought them specifically to wear with pants, and don't plan
to wear them with skirts/dresses, as straps at the ankle tend
to visually shorten my legs (and they're already short
enough). I am wearing them now in colder weather with thin
socks, but will wear them in warmer weather without. This
flexibility is another reason I chose them. Great Look; Great
Feel- I am so pleased with this very attractive shoe. It fills
the void for a dress shoe that is not only a great support
shoe, but one that is very sexy and cute! The first day I wore
them almost 10 hours and never felt any discomfort or arch
pain. Thank You!
This is an amazing shoe. It fits well, is stable on the front,
and is attractive enough to wear to with conservative work
attire. For me, it required a couple days of break-in around
the little toe area, but they adjusted and I've been wearing
them every day, all day for work. The only thing I would
mention is that the leather on the straps and part of the back
is textured, which wasn't clear to me from the picture. I
don't find it unattractive, but it's noteworthy. |
