Dansko Roxy- I have worn Danskos since college in the 70's
(yes, the clogs with wooden soles) and they have always
provided comfort with the unfussy style and European look I
like. I'm in my 50's now and sometimes have difficulty getting
a really comfortable, non-granny looking shoe. The Roxy has
the fit and comfort I always found with Dansko, and looks
equally well with pants and skirts. My only issue is the ankle
strap, which could have been made a little smoother, as it
chafed a bit for the first few wearings. I took to a local
shoe repairman and had that smoothed out. I'm considering
buying in another color. Beautiful shoe. Well-made.
Slightly more narrow than expected. Work well with skirts and
pants. Great work shoe. Saw it in J. Jill catalog and liked
the look. I am very happy with shoe. Will wear to work and to
parties. No more foot pain at end of day! It's wonderful to
leave work at the end of the day and not have foot pain, along
with lower back pain. I am so pleased that Dansko has designed
a shoe that looks great with dresses and slacks. I am now sold
on spending more for my shoes for the comfort alone. I have
received many compliments and would recommend them to every
working woman! I also want to "Thank" Zappos for their
