Finally, a comfortable and stylish heel! My shoe wardrobe has
been vastly revamped over the past 18 months thanks to Zappos
and a bit of orthopedic surgery that makes comfort a key
criterion. After years of sporting Dansko clogs and sandals
year-round, I was delighted to find Roxy at the local Shoe
Market so I could check the fit and then order from my
favorite Zappos. This shoe is astonishingly stylish for a
Dansko - the Beacon Hill collection is described as having a
narrower, tailored fit, so anyone who expects this to feel
like a clog will be disapppointed. It is, nevertheless, the
best combination of fashion and comfort I've found after weeks
of searching. The leather is beautiful, the design elegant,
the fit like butter. By the way, this style is back-ordered
for months at most online and traditional retailers, so Zappos
may have cornered the market! Great Shoe! I wore these shoes
for a wedding recently, and while my feet (of course) were
tired at the end of the day, I thought these shoes were very
comfortable, especially since I am not used to wearing heels
at all. AND my feet and legs DID NOT hurt the next day, which
is something that would have happened if I would have worn
another pair of heels. Love this shoe and glad I bought them! |
