Initially,
Chippewa started with only logger boots in its product line.
Constructed of double and triple leather midsoles and
hand-plugged outsole spikes, the logger boots were designed to
assist loggers as they rolled the logs down the rivers to the
mills.

Great shoe but bigger than your regular Dansko size - I loved
this shoe - it was an extremely comfortable dress shoe that I
think I could wear all day even with being on my feet a great
deal. The only problem was it was too big - I usually wear a
39 in Dansko (like the clogs) and it is almost a little snug.
The 39 in the Roxy was too big - it was perfect with a trouser
style light sock, but flopped in the heel with hose. I think a
size smaller would have been too short for me though because
of the high heel. Really comfortable sole though and I'm sorry
it didn't fit. If you can get your size, you will be very
happy with this shoe. All day wear - These shoes are both
good-looking and comfortable. I am wearing to school where I
stand most of the day; the floors are cement with a thin tile
covering - the kind that makes one's feet sore and tired
quickly. However wearing these shoes I find I am comfortable
the entire day.
